Why I Love Neverblue Ads

I have tried out various popular CPA/CPL affiliate networks like Commission Junction, ClixGalore, Clickbank etc, but never really got much success with them. Perhaps, I'm not really adept at internet marketing. But, a new name in the arena - Neverblueads, has been a boon for me! Thats one affiliate network I joined with the least expectations and got the best fruits from!
Read on...

I do not have an email list or anything where I spam people with affiliate links. I just put up banners of various CPA/CPL offers relevant to the content of that particular site from the affiliate network. I've had very minuscule success with offers where people had to use a credit card or shell out money to buy something. But in the neverblueads interface, I saw a lot of CPL or Cost per Lead offers, and decided to try them out. A couple of months made me around $40...which was a decent thing compared to my success with other internet affiliate programs.

So, I decided top concentrate on neverblue completely. And soon, thanks to a couple of high paying CPL offers, I managed to make between $200 to $300 peer month for the last 3 months! That amount, is a little more than the total I make from Adsense ads on my various sites!

I want YOU to start making some money now with NeverBlueAds too. Not only are they an excellent company to work with, but they also have very high paying rates and you are assigned your own affiliate manager as well. Unlike Google Adsense, NeverBlueAds is made up of a large variety of CPA type offers for you to choose from. You can also earn commission by sending new affiliates/publishers to their network. Their user interface is also very easy to navigate, the site loads awesomely fast and new offers and creative are all available on your main page when you login. I highly recommend NeverBlueAds

Blueprint to Start making money online

Have you been wanting to start making money online but aren’t sure how to get started? Or maybe you have been trying already but just can’t seem to get any money coming in? There are thousands of people in the same situation as you. Trust me, you can make money online if you go about it the right way. Below you will find six steps for getting started making money online and eventually build it into a full time income.

1) Figure Out Your “Why” – The most important step to making money online is not “how” to do it but “why” you want do it. Without defining your why, it’s hard to move on to your how. You must search within yourself to find out why you really want to make money online. Once you have found it, write it down and post it in places where you will see it many times per day. This will keep it in your head at all times and subconsciously help you strive towards it.

2) Write Down Your Plan – Before you get started making money online you will need a plan. What exactly are you trying to accomplish? How long do you plan it will take? What steps do you need to follow to ensure you can do it? How many hours can you put in each day? What is your budget for marketing and other costs? Think about these questions and other questions you might need to answer before you get started.

3) Decide on Your “How” – Now it’s time to figure out how you will make money online. There are many different options for you to choose from. A few of the more popular ones are: affiliate marketing, network marketing, niche marketing, creating and selling your own product, blogging, or doing an actual job online. Most of these actually fit well together so you will usually be doing more than one at a time. They are typically referred to collectively as “internet marketing.” There are plenty of other ways to make money online too, that is not all of them. Do some research on each method and find which one suits you the best, then start with it.

4) Start Your Education – Walking into an online business blindly without first educating yourself is just plain crazy! You need to at least know the basics of marketing and promoting online, as well as some information about the particular money making strategy you chose in step 3. This education is available to you for free all over the internet. Great places to start your education are internet marketing forums and money making blogs. You can also search on Google.

5) Take Action – It’s now time for you to get started on your business. It is very crucial to stay focused in this step. Make sure you don’t join every opportunity and try every money making idea you see just because it promises to be the next big thing. If you have done plenty of research and educated yourself on your “how” then you know you have already found a solid money making idea. Stick with what you started and put your full effort into it.

Remember, you are taking action here! Don’t sit back and wait for the money to roll in because it never will. You have to EARN the money. And don’t expect too much too fast; it takes time to build up a good online income.

6) Work, Work, Work and Never Give Up – This is the best advice I was ever given and I think it’s one of the most important things I can tell you! No matter what anyone says, making a living online is not easy. You have to put in a lot of time and effort before you will see big financial gains. It’s all but guaranteed you will have failures, but you must get up from those failures and trudge on to find your successes!

There you have it, the six steps to making money online. Obviously, the above is a simplified version of what it truly takes. I can’t put everything in one post but those are the basics of what you need to do. I’m not going to lie to you, it won’t be easy. But it definitely can be done and YOU can do it!

Beginner's guide to affiliate marketing

Today, affiliate marketing programs is seen as one of the most important methods by online companies and merchants to market their products and services because implementing an affiliate program doesn't cost much money and it helps generate a consistent stream of online profit.

On the other hand, the affiliates see affiliate marketing as a feasible and low cost method to make online online by promoting other people products using a website or without a website (using Google AdWords PPC advertising program).

There are many affiliate programs on the Internet and not all of them are similar. The most basic affiliate programs fall into 3 categories:

* Pay Per Performance
* Pay Per click
* Residual Income Affiliate Marketing Programs

Pay Per Performance
Pay per performance (PPP) affiliate programs are what most companies and online merchants likes to use. The companies only need to pay when an affiliate referral translates into an action. The action can be a purchase or a lead. The affiliates will spend their own money to promote the affiliated company's products, This save a lot of money for the company. PPP affiliate programs can be futher classified into 2 sub-categories:

* Pay Per Sale (PPS) The title says it all. The company only pays the affiliate when a visitor referred by the affiliate make a purchase.

* Pay Per Lead (PPL) PPL is a little different to PPS. PPL affiliate programs usually used by finance and insurance companies. In this type of affiliate marketing, the affiliate will be paid a fixed commission whenever a visitor referred by him/her to the merchant's website requested a quote or filled up an online application form.

Pay Per Click (PPC) Affiliate Programs
PPC affiliate programs are most popular. You should have heard them a lot. PPC programs are probably the easiest way for web publishers to make money from their websites and blogs. The affiliate gets paid a certain amount ($0.05 to $0.50 usually) whenever a visitor click a banner or text ad displaying on the affiliate's website. PPC typically used by contextual advertising companies like Google AdSense, Yahoo Publisher Networks and much more.

Residual Income Affiliate Marketing Programs
In this type of programs, the affiliate not only compensated for every customer referred to the merchant's website, the affiliate is also paid whenever the referred customer returns to the site and buy another product.

The different types of affiliate marketing programs would deffinitely work differently for merchants and affiliates, and each would have their own advantages and drawbacks. To find out which types of programs work best for you, you'll have to know which one of them suit your need and characteristic most. And then start testing them.

Agloco Auguest Update

Revenue – We are near completion with one of two improved revenue agreements. These should be implemented in August. They should greatly enhance September’s revenue in search and North American ad revenue. We are also in negotiations with one European network, to improve revenue there. We are in need of better networks in China, Brazil, India, Korea and Japan. We also need a network in the Middle East. If any Member has any leads on those, please post your ideas in the comment section.

The above quote is taken from the official agloco blog. For those like who are wondering
when exactly will Agloco start paying,
this is what Brian from Agloco had to say about revenue and cash payouts:

Is there going to be a “minimum” payout level achieved in my account like many affiliate programs have?

Yes, a minimum will be required to keep transfer costs down. All sums not distributed are accumulated in the Member’s AGLOCO account until the minimum is reached.

How are the cash payments going to work?

So, here are three of the potential ways AGLOCO can pay Members. As you know, when you use the Viewbar you accumulate hours (currently up to 5 hours/month, and plus a credit of referral hours at a 25% rate). These hours, both your monthly totals and your overall accumulated hours, are the basis for cash distributions.

Monthy Viewbar hours: Based on the hours you and your referrals surf each month, you will get a share of the “distribution pie”. Your share is equal to your percentage of the total hours accumulated by all Members (including referral hours). How would this work? Here is a hypothetical example. Suppose in a given month AGLOCO distributes $100,000 for that month’s hour accumulation. Also suppose that the total hours all Members have accumulated that month is 1,000,000 hours. This means that AGLOCO would pay $0.10 for each hour you are credited with that month. So in this example if you had accumulated (yourself plus referrals) 500 hours that month, you would be paid $50.

Total Viewbar hours: AGLOCO may also pay in the same manner as above based on total accumulated hours. This would “weight” the payment more towards those Members who joined and began accumulating hours earlier (including the time before the cash payouts have begun).

AGLOCO buying Hours for Cash: Here’s how it would work. AGLOCO would set a price per hour (say, $0.15), and we allow Members to sell their hours back to us at that rate. There would likely be a minimum number of hours you could sell. For instance, AGLOCO may only allow you to sell in 100-hour blocks. Hours that you sell would be deducted from your total accumulated hours for future distributions.

I realize that I have not given a concrete answer to “what an hour is worth”, “what a referral is worth”, or “the date you will be paid”. I wish I could. But, I maintain that to keep AGLOCO a sustainable venture, we must calibrate cash payouts to our actual positive cash flow, lest we suffer the same fate as AllAdvantage.

Wait a second, what about “shares”?

Our website talks about paying Members in “cash and shares”. As I’ve said before, I need to stay away from talking about “shares” in this blog. The lawyers would kill me if I went anywhere near talking about it because it is too easy to unwittingly violate a country’s securities laws.

AGLOCO is not a “get rich quick” scheme and never will be. By steadily using the Viewbar and building a sustainable business, we can make sure that Members will get distributions for years and years as we improve the usefulness of the Viewbar as a part of each Member’s desktop.

Squidoo Lens Rankings Falling on Google

Squidoo - the much loved brat of search engines Google and Yahoo is now heading south with a vengeance. I noticed when there was a recent email from Seth Godlin to all squidoo lensmasters about some big-time spam done by one spammer who had utilized some flaw in squidoo and exploited it badly. Godlin said that everything is under control now and the exploit has been fixed. However, it seems that this spam trick did not go down well with Google and gang.

My squidoo lens - http://squidoo.com/online-earning used to be on the first page for the terms earning money online and online earning. I was getting huge amounts of search engine traffic which had helped my lens get into the top 100 list not once but twice! I dont know what went wrong but the lens is no longer on the first page and the rankings on squidoo have gone down correspondingly. Its becoming more and mopre difficult to predict the Google pattern these days has its changing quite rapidly these days!

Using Flickr to Generate Traffic

Flickr is a social photography website which allows you to upload and share your pictures with friends and family, registered Flickr users as well as the general internet audience.

Flickr’s built-in social features, strong user community and growing mind share has transformed it into a viable platform for marketing your website or business. Some bloggers like Barry Schwartz and Matt McGee have written about how Flickr can be used to drive traffic to your website or online business.

According to HitWise, Flickr is currently the #2 photography website in the U.S, UK and Australia, while holding a U.S marketshare of 38%. While it still trails Photobucket in all three markets, Flickr’s global presence means that it possibly has a greater market share in various other countries.

Networking on Flickr to Promote Your Website

The Flickr community is close-knit and many of them interact through a great variety of Flickr groups, with each of them having their own discussion board and pool of photos. These groups are either public, invite only or completely private.

Joining a group and submitting your photos is a good way to get some exposure for your website and profile. Another networking method familiar to most bloggers is to actively comment on pictures that you come across.

This will get some users to click through to your profile page, which should have an introduction and link to your website or business.

Alternatively, you can also create your own group if you do not find any which fit your interests or website focus. Here’s how you can get started: Go to the Flickr Groups homepage, do a search using keywords related to your site or interests and then join the groups that are active or interesting.

Finding a group that is active is important. Some of the groups I’ve come across are dead, with the last image shared several months ago. The members aren’t interacting within the group anymore.

You should examine two main factors before you join any group: The overall size of the group and secondly, the date of the latest discussion post and last image submitted.

You can track their image sharing activity via RSS before proceeding towards deeper interaction.

Cool New Wordpress RSS Plugin

Ankesh Kothari, the creator of the buy me a beer Wordpress plugin has done it again! This time, Ankesh has created a RSS feed footer plugin that allows you to add messages under all your new blog posts in your RSS feed. Here are just some of the thing you can do with feed footer:

1. Copyright Your Feed!
Add copyright notices under all your Blog Posts in the RSS feed

2. Monetize Your RSS Feeds.
Show and rotate ads under your blog posts in the RSS feed (maximum of 10 ads can be rotated.)

3. HTML Enabled Footers
Any HTML code can be shown in your footers! You can snazzy up your footers with banners and images! You can make your text bold or italics or underlined.

4. No Word or Line Limit.
Your footer ads and notices could be 200 lines long if you so desire!

Installation is extremely simple. Just download and unzip the plugin and then upload the folder into your wp-content/plugins folder and activate. Then it’s just a matter of adding the HTML codes for the RSS footer.

The plugin allows for ten footer messages. To show a footer under all posts, copy-and-paste the same footer in all ten fields. If you leave any of the field blank, its corresponding feed footer will show up blank too. Also, the plugin adds footers to new posts only. Old RSS posts aren’t touched.

Auction Ads - A Unique Affiliate Program

ShoemoneyMedia company together with MediaWhiz( owner of TextLinkAds ) just launched the new AuctionAds - targeting on selling Ebay auction items. This means that this is a CPA (Cost Per Action ) ads system. You will only earn money when you successfully convert your traffic into the customer who buy the Ebay auction item through the ads. You may feel confusing on how this ads system works out. Anyway, I will give you some explanation here. First, take a look at the ad:

Instead of offering “channels” like Google Adsense, Auction Ads offers “Champaigns” to track the performance of your ads. Besides, Auction Ads is geo-targeted. This means that Malaysia traffic will only see Malaysia or World Wide Ebay auction item from the ads provided by Auction Ads.

How do you earn from Auction Ads?

  • Auction Ads passes 100% of your earning from Ebay to you. Ya, you are right. They didn’t even take one cent from you. For more details, you can take a look at the Ebay Affiliate Payment Structure. But, you don’t have to become Ebay Affiliate in order to become advertiser of Auction Ads. But, some people may ask “Why don’t we register for Ebay Affiliate instead of Auction Ads?”. This is because Auction Ads helps us to make everything easy by using the platform they provide. You will find that to set up ad by using Ebay Affiliate platform is far more difficult than the Auction Ads platform.
  • Auction Ads provides affiliate program too. You can earn 2% of the earning of your recommended advertiser for Auction Ads up to six months.

Web 2.0 Basics for Internet Marketers

There are a few different definitions for the term Web 2.0. When
you start looking at the various definitions, it can become quite
confusing. But in terms of Internet Marketing, it can be
simplified. Web 2.0 allows you and others to interact through a web
application. There are varying elements of Web 2.0. Let's take a
look at them.

1.Social Networking: Sites like MySpace and FaceBook have become
extremely popular. This is Web 2.0. People are able to create
profile pages, create a friends list, blog, and add comments to
their friends profile pages. They can also send broadcasts out to
their friends' lists. Internet Marketers have really learned how to
use sites such as these to their advantage, in order to reach a
mass market.

2.Social Bookmarking: Keeping bookmarks of your favorite websites
on your own computer is one thing. Keeping your favorite bookmarks
in a web environment that other people can share is Web 2.0. As an
Internet Marketer, you can bookmark every page of your website, and
tag each bookmark with your keywords. Other users of the social
bookmarking sites can search by keyword, and your site will come up
in the results. To save time, use a service such as Onlywire.com to
send your social bookmarks to multiple bookmarking sites at once.
It's free.

3.User Driven Content: Building a website no longer takes tons of
content. Look again at MySpace. The creator of MySpace didn't build
the content there - the people who use MySpace build the content,
and it is updated every minute of the day! It is wise, in this day
and age, to create sites that allow the users to build the content.

Blogging and RSS also play a part in the Web 2.0 revolution. Video
and podcasting also have a place in this bright new technological
world. Sites like YouTube.com, where anybody can upload their
videos, are as popular as MySpace.

As an Internet Marketer, you must keep up with the changes in
technology, and Web 2.0 implements many changes in technology, as
well as how information is presented and shared on the Internet. If
you haven't already started participating in Web 2.0 concepts, you
need to get started today!

Agloco ViewBar to be Launched this Week

Finally the news all Agloco enthusiasts have been waiting for - The Agloco Viewbar will be launched this week! Check out the official Agloco blog if you dont believe me...

After considerable delays, we're finally getting to see the viewbar being launched..thank God! Many people had actually started losing trust in the authenticity of the AGLOCO program, and many more might still think so.

Anyways, here's a quote about the launch from Agloco:

This weekend the Viewbar download is being moved from the test servers to the main servers. We will NOT need to temporarily take down the web site as we had thought, so we will not be sending out an email warning on that. If the transfer goes smoothly, the first download emails will be going out Monday morning California time (early Tuesday in Asia).

Though they say that they still haven't managed to connect all the ad servers.

We have made a workaround regarding the ad server problem and we will finally be launching the Viewbar. Some, but not all, of our ad networks will be connected. These networks have enough ads on them, so we are comfortable releasing the software as we continue to work on the outstanding issues that remain with the other networks. All of the preliminary Viewbar functions are there, but with the ad problems we will not be initially launching with the personalized ad targeting. We will continue to develop this capability after we have launched and when it is available the new version of the software will be incorporated into your viewbar automatically.
Let's hope it launches well and turns out a good money maker. Havent joined Agloco yet? Join Now!

5 Tips to Boost Your Adsense Revenue

Google AdSense program has made it easier for webmasters to make money through a website. Webmasters who run an AdSense campaign will display Google's contextual Ads relevant to the content of their sites and thus encouraging visitors to click the ads and earn money for each ad click.

However you will earn very little AdSense revenue if you don't know how to optimize your AdSense ads on your website. Here are some tips to increase your AdSense earning:

1. Focus on one Adsense ad format. The Large Rectangle (336X280) ad format seems to work better than other ad formats because this format tends to result in higher click through rates (CTR). Another reason is that the ads will look like normal web links that visitors use to click on them. It doesn't matter whether the visitors know that they are clicking AdSense ads or not, as long as there are clicking, you earn AdSense commission.

2. Create a custom palette for your ads. Select a color that matches your website's background. If your site's background is white both, the color of ad border and background should set to be white too. Also the color of the ad title should be similar to coloe of the links in your website. This is to make your AdSense ads look like it is part of the web pages. Again, this will boost AdSense CTR.

3. Don't place your AdSense ads at the bottom of your webpages because it is proven to be less effective. Displaying your AdSense ads at the bottom is like hiding your AdSense and thus leads to low CTR and AdSense revenue. Try to put them in the place where people can see them quickly. You will be amazed how the difference between AdSense locations can make when you see your earnings.

4. Try to place your AdSense ads near rich content as visitors main focus usually are your content. There are several ways to insert AdSense ads into your content and one of the ways is place your AdSense just after the end of your content.

5. Try to automate the insertion of your AdSense code into the webpages using SSI (or server side included). Ask your web administrator if your server supports SSI or not. How do you do it? Just save your AdSense code in a text file, name it as “AdSense text”, and upload it to the root directory of the web server. Then use SSI, call the code on other pages. This tip is a time saver especially for those who are using automatic page generators to generate pages on their website.

These are some of the tips that have worked well for some who want to generate hundreds and even thousands on their websites. There are other ways to optimize your AdSense that produce high CTR also. You can learn more tricks by reading in AdSense and webmaster forums

7 Ways to Make Money Online without a Website

Labels: ,

There are plenty of ways of making money on the net without requiring Internet marketing knowledge and I have introduced a number of them in the previous posts of this blog. For easier searching, I decided to combine them into this post. Here are them:

Work Online for Others
Guru.com and Elance.com are freelance marketplaces with tons of online job opportunities. Getting an online job through freelance marketplace is similar to getting an offline job, it involves competitions. You search for an online job that is right for you in freelance site, then you bid for the job. If your bid is the lowest, the employer will usually award the job to you.

Another site offers online job opportunities is Clicknwork.com. Unlike freelance marketplaces, there are no bidding competitions involved. They will assign the work to you. But to become their home-based professionals or workers, you must pass a difficult test.

Submit Articles for Cash
If you are passionate about writing, you may submit your articles to the below sites for publication and earn cash for each article published:

Developershep.com/writers.php - Accept articles related to web development and Internet marketing.
Associatedcontent.com (AC) - You become their member and submit articles in wide array of topics for payment consideration. Available to US only.
Newsforge - Pay $100 to $300 for each article about Linux, open source and free software.

Try Companies Offers
The concepts are simple. You join a website that contains a list of offers you can sign up or try. For each offer completed and approved, you'll be credited an amount of money into your account. Most of the offers available to US residents only. Treasuretrooper.com is one of the programs allows you to earn by completing offers.

Submit Photos and Images to Photo Agencies
Web designers, magazines and press need new photos and images often. They will look for photo marketplaces and agencies to buy photos that fit their need. You can submit your photos and images to these agencies and they will sell the photo and images for you. Below are some of the photo agencies:

Write Products Reviews
Have something to say about the products and services you have used? Send your product comment to products reviews websites. If they decide to publish your review, you'll be paid.

Softwarejudge.com - Reviews software and online games.

Earn From PPC ads on your site

Labels: ,

PPC is the abbreviation for the term 'pay per click.' It has emerged as one of the fastest growing segments in the advertising field and includes traditional and online media. PPC advertising is used for search engines where the advertisers pay for every click that directs users to their web page using search engine results and links.

You can earn from your blog or website using PPC advertising. Some popular PPC earning programs where you should apply are:

- Google Adsense (See button on top-left of this blog's sidebar)

- Adbrite

- Yahoo Publisher Network (Only for publishers based in US)

- Kontera

there more more lesser known PPC advertising solutions but they're really not worth it.

PayPerPost - A Review

While there are bound to be people who may (still) consider PayPerPost to be lacking intelligence and a practitioner of the dark arts, I do suppose it’s about time we move on, knowing there’s absolutely nothing that can be done to stop bloggers from using paid review services.

Unless they choose to not participate, of course. In this case, it would all boil down to a matter of choice. And often the choices made reflects the quality of the reviews.

But why? While most of it has to do with the comprehensiveness of a review and the efforts that bloggers commit to research before documenting their objective opinions and findings, the lesser known but equally vital factor that most of us have left out lies with the companies offering these review services to bloggers.

As of now, ReviewMe and PayPerPost appears to be the most popular. During my time spent online, I’ve read quite a handful of reviews written by bloggers who are publishers with either 1 of the 2 companies and found a lack of quality from the ones from PayPerPost. It almost always appear to be too simplifiled and lacklustre. Reviews written by publishers of ReviewMe however are always a notch up.

I could be generalizing here but as mentioned earlier, this is merely based on my observation from the reviews that I’ve come across. I attribute it to 2 factors.

1. Ease of entry as a reviewer.
2. Requirements of an advertiser.

The easier it takes for bloggers to join as reviewers, the more difficult it is to ensure quality reviews. With PayPerPost, that’s exactly what’s happening. All it takes to join is a blog that is 90 days old with minimally 20 entries. Suffice to say, I can have a blog that is low-trafficked, not well-ranked and still participate as long as that requirement is met. How difficult can that be? Anyone can do it.

Now, I’ve got advertiser accounts with both companies and was toying with the idea of having a review done on a jewelry site I own a while back. A run-through on how I can purchase my reviews at both sites led me to believe advertisers play an important role as well.

Advertisers decide on the price and the amount of words for a review with PayPerPost. What bothers me is that they can also decide if the review is to be positive or negative. If an advertiser on a tight budget comes along and orders a positive review, requesting minimally 50 words and a payment of $5, I wonder just how thorough and honest that review will be. How is this considered proper disclosure?

Fine then, how about $5 for 300 words and a netural review? I’m not sure if anyone will be willing to conduct a proper research and spend their time writing a review for that amount, which appears to be the reason why reviews from PayPerPost don’t seem to measure up.

In the case of ReviewMe, advertisers only get to decide on the blogs they want their review written by. The price is determined by a blog’s popularity based on the company’s algorithm. Constructive criticism is encouraged from bloggers instead of allowing advertisers to choose its outcome and reviews have to be minimally 200 words long.

I’m not condeming PayPerPost or its bloggers but rather hoping they improve their current system and encourage openess between advertisers, bloggers and readers.

And with Sponsored Reviews launching soon, they better.

Until then, I wouldn’t count on a PayPerPost review to influence my decision unless I know the blogger writing it is a trustworthy fellow. Other than that, it’s really just a good way to get cheap backlinks. $50 for a review with 50 words can easily get me 10 non-authoritative backlinks.

So Many Affiliate Programs...

So Many Affiliate Programs! Which One Do I Choose?

Ask questions first before you join an affiliate program. Do a little research about the choices of program that you intend to join into. Get some answers because they will be the deciding point of what you will be achieving later on.

Will it cost you anything to join? Most affiliate programs being offered today are absolutely free of charge. So why settle for those that charge you some dollars before joining.

When do they issue the commission checks? Every program is different. Some issue their checks once a month, every quarter, etc. Select the one that is suited to your payment time choice. Many affiliate programs are setting a minimum earned commission amount that an affiliate must meet or exceed in order for their checks to be issued.

What is the hit per sale ratio? This is the average number of hits to a banner or text link it takes to generate a sale based on all affiliate statistics. This factor is extremely important because this will tell you how much traffic you must generate before you can earn a commission from the sale.

How are referrals from an affiliate’s site tracked and for how long do they remain in the system? You need to be confident on the program enough to track those people you refer from your site. This is the only way that you can credit for a sale. The period of time that those people stay in the system is also important. This is because some visitors do not buy initially but may want to return later to make the purchase. Know if you will still get credit for the sale if it is done some months from a certain day.

What are the kinds of affiliate stats available? Your choice of affiliate program should be capable of offering detailed stats. They should be available online anytime you decide to check them out. Constantly checking your individual stats is important to know how many impressions, hits and sales are already generated from your site. Impressions are the number of times the banner or text link was viewed by a visitor of your site. A hit is the one clicking on the banner or text links.

Does the affiliate program also pay for the hits and impressions besides the commissions on sales? It is important that impressions and hits are also paid, as this will add to the earnings you get from the sales commission. This is especially important if the program you are in offers low sales to be able to hit ratio.

Who is the online retailer? Find out whom you are doing business with to know if it is really a solid company. Know the products they are selling and the average amount they are achieving. The more you know about the retailer offering you the affiliate program, the easier it will be for you to know if that program is really for you and your site.

Is the affiliate a one tier or two tier program? A single tier program pays you only for the business you yourself have generated. A two tier program pays you for the business, plus it also pays you a commission on the on the sales generated by any affiliate you sponsor in your program. Some two-tier programs are even paying small fees on each new affiliate you sponsor. More like a recruitment fee.

Lastly, what is the amount of commission paid? 5% - 20% is the commission paid by most programs. .01% - .05% is the amount paid for each hit. If you find a program that also pays for impressions, the amount paid is not much at all. As you can see from the figures, you will now understand why the average sales amount and hit to sale ratio is important.
These are just some of the questions that needed answering first before you enter into an affiliate program. You should be familiar with the many important aspects that your chosen program should have before incorporating them into your website. Try to ask your affiliate program choices these questions. These can help you select the right program for you site from among the many available.

Google Adsense - The Easiest Money To Make Online

For the last couple of months, Google Adsense has dominated forums, discussions and newsletters all over the Internet. Already, there are tales of fabulous riches to be made and millions made by those who are just working from home. It seems that Google Adsense have already dominated the internet marketing business and is now considered the easiest way to making money online.

The key to success with Adsense is the placing of ads on pages that are receiving high traffic for high demand keywords. The higher the cost-per-click to the advertiser, the more you will receive per click from your site. Obviously, it does not pay to target low cost-per-click keywords and place them on pages that do not receive hits.

With all the people getting online and clicking away everyday, it is no wonder why Google Adsense has become an instant hit.

For some who are just new to this market, it would be a blow to their pride knowing that their homepage is buried somewhere in the little ads promoting other people’s services. But then, when they get the idea that they are actually earning more money that way, all doubts and skepticism is laid to rest.

There are two major, and clever, factors that some successful webmaster and publishers are learning to blend together in order to make money easier using Adsense.

1. Targeting high traffic pages on your website. If you check on your logs, you will discover that many of your visitors are taking advantage of the free affiliate marketing resources and ebooks that you are offering on your site. In simple words, your ads are working effectively and are generating more clicks. It also means more money for you.

2. Placing Adsense links on pages that are producing little, or better yet, no profit. By placing Adsense on a free resources page, you will reduce the amount of potential customers being lost to other sites. Tricky, but effective nonetheless.

When learned to work effectively, these two factors are actually a good source of producing a minimal amount of revenue from a high traffic page. Many people are using this strategy to pick up some extra and cash with Adsense. This is also especially rewarding to informational sites that focus their efforts on delivering powerful affiliate link free content to their visitors. Now they can gain a monetary return on their services.

With the many techniques that people are now learning on how to make the easiest money by their Adsense, it is not surprising that Google is trying everything to update and polish their Adsense in order to maintain their good image.

The possibility of adding is 2nd tier in Adsense is not impossible. With all the people spending more time in their Adsense now and still more getting into this line of marketing, there is no doubt about the many new improvements yet to be made. Imagine the smiles on the faces of the webmasters and publishers all around the world if ever they sign up for sub-affiliates and double or even triple the amount that they are already earning.
The one particularly handy money-making feature that is available with Adsense now is the ability to filter out up to 200 urls. These gives webmasters the option to block out low value offers from their pages as well as competitors to their websites. Talk about taking only those that are advantageous and discarding the ones that seem “useless”.

With Google Adsense, the possibilities are limitless. Yet there is also the possibility of someone taking advantage of the easy money process that this internet marketing is doing. If you think more about it, these negative factors may force Google to break down and thrash Adsense in the process. If that happens, people would have to go back to the old ways of internet marketing that does not make money online as easy as Adsense.

For now, however, Google Adsense is here to stay. As long as there are people wanting to earn some easy cash online just using their talents, the future ahead is looking good. Besides with all the strict guidelines that Google is enforcing over Adsense, it will take awhile for the Adsense privileges to be spammed and even terminated.

Join the Adsense program easily by Clicking on the Adsense button in the left sidebar!

5 Steps For Successful Affiliate Marketing

The idea of being mere passengers on a ship meant to sail to the farthest points does not appeal to people who like to put their destiny into their own hands. They have the desire of maneuvering the ships themselves, of being able to be the ones to take it anywhere they want to. Being aboard a ship on its way to a particularly great destination is something each and every one of them dreams of, and the knowledge that they have the capacity to steer it themselves is what makes them actually want to.

Perhaps this is the reason why more and more people are succumbing to one of the most popular businesses around – affiliate marketing. It is because in this business, there are no bosses to order the employees around. There are no deadlines to meet and no clutter of work do to. One only needs to be equipped with the tools needed to succeed in a business such as this, and he is bound to get what his heart ultimately desires.

Just what are the things needed to be able to succeed in affiliate marketing? What must one have within himself to be able to do well in this industry? There is a lot of competition involved in affiliate marketing, and to be able to rise above the norm, one must be equipped with just the right stuff necessary to propel him forward. There are five things one must ultimately possess if he wants to achieve the glory he is yearning for in this business, and these five things are a must for him to possess to be able to stand out among the rest.

1) The very first quality one must possess if he wants to try his hand in affiliate marketing is the willingness to learn and be trained. Treading through unfamiliar territory is scary stuff if one is not properly equipped, and he might get lost amidst a jungle of the unknown. Learning the tricks of the trade is also an important aspect of the game, and one’s willingness to know it all will give him far better advantages in the business than he could ever imagine.

2) The second quality one must possess is the willingness to invest time and effort even if direct results do not seem at all apparent. Although several months may pass without good news, it is important for one who has his foot in the industry to hold on and wait. It is this quality which would save him from giving up after investing a lot of himself in the business.

3)The third quality one must possess is self-determination. If one wants to conquer the affiliate marketing world, he must have the ability to push himself ahead. Never having to say die is a quality each and every affiliate marketer should possess, and the ability to motivate oneself into scaling greater heights is an ability which would actually take an affiliate marketer there.

4) The fourth quality one must possess is discipline. If one knows how to teach himself to work everyday with all the energy he can muster, then he is close to achieving what he has set his heart to having in the first place.

5) The fifth and last quality one must possess is optimism. Negative attitudes and hearsays should not discourage an affiliate marketer from pursuing what he has to in order to make life better for himself and for everyone concerned. Neither should anyone influence his attitude toward the business, because once in it, it is a must for him to be the captain of his ship and the master of his soul.

The ingredients to success in a business such as affiliate marketing are diverse and manifold, but the most important thing one needs to be able to make it big lies in himself alone. It is he who has the capacity to do everything to be able to realize his prospects, and the desire which fuels his heart in doing so is the gasoline which should keep the engine going.

Affiliate marketing is all about putting one’s fate into his own hands. The right attitude is the key to being able to steer one’s ship into that part of the ocean where a certain kind of serenity can be found, one that permeates the atmosphere as the ship sails calmly on.

3 Simple Tips for Making Money Online

Have an idea about making money online but don’t know where to start?

There are several ways to make money on the Internet – even if you don’t have a product to sell. Keep in mind that running an online business takes time and effort, just like running any business. However, you can get started without any products, which is one less roadblock for most people wanting to start a business.

You don’t need to be a computer expert to run an online business, but you do need to either be able to set up a website, or have the resources to pay someone else to do it for you.

Here are 3 simple ways to make money online even if you don’t have your own product:

Affiliate programs
Being an affiliate means you are selling other people’s products, and you get a percentage of the sale, or you make a small fee for each person who requests more information. Most major retailers offer affiliate programs, along with many smaller retailers (with lots of good products and services). It’s not a good idea to try to compete with an established retailer like Wal-Mart, Target, or Circuit City. A better way to make money is to find a “niche” that serves a smaller group of people, that you can easily reach.

For example, rather than selling sporting goods to everyone, you might start a fishing site that sells canoes and fishing products to people who like fresh water fishing. You can also find smaller retailers who may offer more specialized products to those who know a lot about fishing, while selling the basics from Wal-Mart to beginners.

A good place to start is Commission Junction (http://www.CJ.com), and you’ll get an idea of the products you can offer. Be creative in finding your niche, start with something you know a little about, or enjoy doing, and before long you can be making money online!

Adsense from Google
Adsense is an advertising program from search engine Google.com (there are other advertising programs you can offer, but for now Google’s is the biggest and most popular). By placing ads on your site, you earn money for each person who clicks on the ad. Google will automatically determine which ads are best for your site, based on the topic of each web page. All you have to do is place the code on your web page, and Google does the rest.

You can also sell individual ads, and determine your own terms and price. But using a program like Google is simple, and if your set gets a lot of visitors, you can make good money. Again, the best way to succeed is to find a niche, create a website around that topic, and Google will be able to determine the best ads for your visitors.

Write a “How-To” booklet
If you don’t want to sell other people’s products, but don’t have a lot of money to create your own, a simple way to get started is to write your own “how-to” booklet. Pick a topic you know enough to write about, and start writing. Information products are always good sellers – the key is to solve a particular problem. “How to catch fresh water fish” or “How to plan a fishing vacation on a tight budget” are possibilities for the fishing niche mentioned above.

To learn more, do a search for “creating information products” or “writing e-books”, and you will find lots of resources. Once you create your product, Clickbank.com offers a simple service to help you sell your information product, and there are others to help you get started.

Again, be creative, there are lots of problems out there that people need help with. And offering a good solution can make you lots of money!

Making money online takes more than just building a website. You need to pick the right products or services. Then you need to find the right audience to sell those products and services. Then you need to promote your website to enough people so you can make money. For now, you should have enough ideas to get you started – even if you don’t have a product to sell yet!

The way it works is simple. If you browse the net using their viewbar for 5 hours per month, they pay you whether or not you have ANY affiliates. You also get paid for when your affiliates use it, and when their affiliates use it. In this way it is possible to make a fair sum of money. However to be successful you must be able to get affiliates, although this is not especially hard because AGLOCO is a name that carries respect and people seem to know it isn't a scam.

AGLOCO are planning to be on the stock market by the end of 2007, which presents us with an opportunity. Members get 0.25 shares per hour people in their network.

There are therefore 3 possible outcomes:

AGLOCO sinks, and doesn't grow fast enough, resulting in its members getting their earnings from their browsing using the viewbar, and nothing more.

AGLOCO grows like crazy and the IPO is successful, in which case the members shares which they have accumulated may be worth a fortune.

AGLOCO grows like crazy and attracts the attention of the big boys like Google and Yahoo! AGLOCO would then be bought out, like Youtube, except the members of AGLOCO will make big money from it.

It truly sounds like a winner. To join AGLOCO, click here.

My Review of Mylot

Familiar with Posting in threads in orkut communities?Or even Yahoo Answers? MyLot is pretty much like that except it sorta offers more opportunities for social networking. The site is very easy to use and the interface isn’t cluttered with ads, which is always a good thing.

How much do they pay? I started 5 discussions and made around 5 replies to other people’s questions and earned 10 cents the next day. You basically earn through participating in discussions and your referrals. I found the site to be pretty alright, although some members of the community flash their referral links in always every post they reply. I guess it’s too be expected when you’re in a community where everyone’s primary aim is to make money online.

It took me around 10 minutes to earn 10 cents and I’m pretty sure I could have done it faster. I wouldn’t advise Mylot as the main source of your online income, but it is an interesting way to earn some money while getting answers to the most mundane questions you ever had but were afraid to ask. Stuff like ‘Why is the sky blue in color?’ or ‘What are some cool image hosts?’ apply equally well in the website.

The community is friendly and you’ll probably make some new friends, which is awesome if that’s something you looking forward to. There are over 30,000 members on the site and some have claimed that they have already been paid. I’ll update if this is true once I reach the $10.00 payout level.

Earning Money Online - Probs & Sols

While I started this blog hoping to sell my readers great ways to make money online, some people actually thing its a splog - a spam blog. I wonder why they have such weird rules that most such money making tips blogs get bad treatment at the hands of google and technorati.

Not only is this damging to our earning prospects but also reduces our chances of getting a PR.

Online money making is one of the hottest vistas open to a galaxy of netizens, but most of them end up trapped in a scam. Therefore, before you sign up for any such program, try a small trick which will tell you if its spam or not.

Just make a Google search for that program's name followed by the word "spam". For example, a money making surfing program Surfjunky is easily known to be a scam if you make a Google search for the word Surfjunky Scam.

Try it, and you will be able to figure out the scams from the genuine money making programs.
